In this episode I reflect on the passing of the Hip Priest, Mark E Smith of the Fall. His legacy on music is enormous, with diverse acts as Pavement and LCD .Soundsystem citing him as a huge influence, a fact that didn’t in the slightest please him. The sound of the Fall bordered on chaos, with the cryptic crossword poetry of Smith likely leaving you with a wry smile or scratching your head.
